Once upon a time, in a very distant town, the young Doom was producing his studio album, after several years of trying to do something different and changing the rap game at that time. Back in 2004, Doom, having produced MM…FOOD and consecrating his career as one of the most iconic underground rappers in history, decided to release a new album, one better than the previous one released.
Doom, being famous, decided to use a gladiator mask to hide his identity, this is how Doom’s adventure begins, traveling around the world, meeting talented people such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat. There were rumors about a producer known as Madlib, but he had disappeared years ago.
After several years of inquiring, Doom had lost all hope of finding the desired producer. Madlib was nowhere. But there was hope, a former friend of Madlib heard about the young Doom, excited Doom managed to contact him and showed him his old projects as Metal Fingers, and his iconic album MM…FOOD. He was impressed with the musical quality he had and being produced by himself. The singles chosen were Rapp Snitch Knishes feat. Mr. Fantastik and Kon Karne.
After a long wait, Madlib appeared before him and automatically merged, MF DOOM and Madlib became one, called Madvillain. After several years of hard work in the big fish mountain, Madvillain was sacked, much of the material was never found, many songs were stolen.
After three years of hard work, Madvillain’s work was named Madvillainy. Madvillainy, with 24 songs, was established as the best underground rap album of all time. MF DOOM and Madlib, now Madvillain, disappeared, leaving their best project ever created and grateful to all.
