Greenhouse

Kenny used to live with his parents, he was the happiest kid in the world, he had a lot of friends and his teachers talked very good about him, he had the best score at school, he was just the perfect son and he also loved hanging out with his parents but one night he heard his parents fighting and they decided to divorce, his dad had another family. That was the worst day in Kenny’s life. When his parents broke up his dad gave him a cat and Kenny never knew about him anymore. He was not happy at all; the little cat always reminded him that his parents were not together anymore. Every time that he looked at the cat he felt angry and just wanted to get rid of it.

One day his mother asked him where the cat was, but he just smiled and told her that he didn’t know where it might be, and two weeks later he asked her mom for another cat. The same happened to this one, it just disappeared. His mom noticed that he never named the cats and she asked him why, he answered that he knew that soon or later they will be gone and started smiling. His mom didn’t pay attention to that, she tough that maybe he didn’t take good care of them and that is why they ran away. She was always in her greenhouse that was next to their house.

Kenny was not the same anymore. He turned into a lonely boy with the worst score at school, but nobody paid attention to him. When he was 15 year old he took in a street dog and named it as “IT”, his mom told him that she didn’t want it in the house and they had a big fight because of it, but she just accepted the dog. He had the dog for 3 years and when he was 18 years old the dog disappeared and he just took in another one. He met a girl and two years later they started living together, they had a nice apartment and they were a beautiful couple with his dog which Kenny named floppy. One day floppy was not in the apartment and they spent a week looking for it but they never found it. Three years later they had a baby and they named her Keysi.

Kenny’s wife disappeared one day with the baby and he never knew anything about them so he moved again with his mom, she was sick so he had to take care of the plants but he never did. One year later his mom died and she let him a letter and it just said:

“I hate you Kenny with all my heart, you just reminded me of your stupid dad, I hope you enjoy my gifts, they are in the greenhouse.”

Love, mom.

Kenny found his two cats, his two dogs and also his dad with his family and his wife and babies all of them with their names.
