It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining in the sky. Sitting in a tree, Trinity remembers the day when his father gave her the best gift that she had never received. An ancient “bracelet”. He told her that, it had been in the family for 3 generations and now it belongs to her. It has been with her since that day. She also felt guilty because she had left her family without thinking, to follow her heart.
She wanted to know what happened with her boyfriend. Why he had disappeared in that way, without saying good-bye.
An unusual strange noise, Woke her up to her thoughts. She hid; she knew that the forest wasn’t safe, because of the guards. They were bad people working for the “General “and able to arrest whoever entered the forest. She was right; there was a guard just below the tree she was sitting on. She held her breathing but her heart still beat like in a race. She had to find a way to escape.
The only way was to stay there and wait until he had gone. She did it. One hour later Trinity left the tree and restarted her research. At the end of the day she found a village, she was investigating, asking if someone had seen her boyfriend, but nobody knew anything about him.
There was only one house she hadn’t knocked the door, the one that was in the mountain so far from the village. She started to walk in that direction, when suddenly her heart stopped beating. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing. There was a young man, sitting down on a log; meanwhile a young blonde woman was inclined towards him. Her mind started to think all of the worst thoughts. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
How could he do that to her? How could he cheat on me?
She had two options, going back or going over there, slap him and then ask him “why”. She decided to the second one. Determined, she began to walk over there, afraid of what could happen in the next 30 minutes.
The first thing she did, when she was there, was the same she thought earlier. She “slapped him “and asked him “why could you do that to me”. Jetro was frozen up, his face was red and pale at the same time.
It was red because of the slap and red because of that surprise. The blonde woman didn’t do or said anything, she only keep her head down. That act confirmed Trinity’s thoughts and fears.
Jetro took her by her arm, and went back to the cabin. It was dark and old inside. He started to explain to her that he was sorry for having left the camp without saying good-bye. He had to do it because Saira (the blonde woman) was in trouble.
Meanwhile Trinity was crying. “So you left me without leaving a note, nothing, because of this woman” She said to him, angry. Almost a guard killed me because I was looking for you in the forest, and I find you with that woman!
Jetro, told her “she is my sister”. In a few seconds the thing took another turn. Trinity felt guilty for accusing him and asked him what happened with her. It seems that she had some troubles with her husband, he wanted to kill her and she asked Jetro to bring her in a safe place. And he did it without thinking because she was his sister.
When Trinity saw them later, Saira was helping his brother with a band aid, because he had hurt his head the night before with a tree. Trinity decided to forgive Jetro and he proposed her to stay with them until he could bring her sister to her mom’s house. Trinity accepted and everything returned as before.
